Global Entrepreneurship Week


Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is an international initiative aimed at introducing young people in six continents to the topic of entrepreneurship. This initiative started in 2008 after the events of Entrepreneurship Week in the United Kingdom and Entrepreneurship Week in the United States of America, in 2007. Since its establishment, more than 10 have participated. One million people from 170 countries participated in the activities of this global initiative, which amounted to more than 35,000 events. This annual event continues over a period of one week, and includes the participation of entrepreneurship experts, policy makers, education practitioners and politicians. The event aims to inform people of the benefits of entrepreneurship through activities. Different and motivating them to explore their project ideas.
